Looking Ahead, Giving Back Campaign
The National Optometric Foundation is proud to launch our “Looking Ahead, Giving Back” campaign—an initiative designed to inspire past scholarship recipients to invest in the future of optometry.
Through this campaign, we are asking alumni, friends, and supporters to pledge $1,000 to help sustain and expand the scholarships that empower the next generation of optometrists. For those unable to contribute the full amount at once, flexible installment options are available, making it easier than ever to give back in a meaningful way.
NOA Associates Scholarship Program
Since 1973, the National Optometric Association (NOA) Associates has proudly supported the mission and programs of the National Optometric Association.
The NOA Associates Scholarship Program provides financial support to deserving optometry students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, community service, and a commitment to the profession.

NOF Eye Empowerment Webinars: “Protecting the Vision”
NOF Eye Empowerment Webinars: “Protecting the Vision” is a monthly educational webinar series designed to empower communities through knowledge, awareness, and access to valuable eye health information. Each month, eye care professionals and experts will discuss important topics focused on vision, prevention, treatment, and overall wellness—providing practical information to help individuals and families protect their vision and prioritize their eye health.
Dr. Henry Moore and Dr. Raleigh Bynum Golf Scholarship Tournament

Support the next generation of optometrists through the Dr. Henry Moore and Dr. Raleigh Bynum Golf Scholarship. Donations are accepted year-round, and you can show your support during Convention by joining us for the annual Golf Tournament or purchasing a NOF golf polo. Dr. Will G. Kelley (Fun Run) Scholarship
Dr. Kelley was the second black graduate of the UC Berkeley School of Optometry, who made countless contributions to the field and to the NOA. As he was a proponent of staying healthy, through physical activity, the annual fun run was started, in his honor, to raise money for deserving students.

Scholarship, Community Outreach and Educational Activities
The goal of the NOF is to assist the NOA in its efforts to advance the visual health of under-supported populations, while increasing the recruitment of underrepresented individuals into schools and colleges of optometry. All tax deductible donations go towards achieving this goal.
“Visioning the Future” Mentorship Program
Our mission is focused on talented individuals from historically under supported institutions and communities and to guide and enhance their entry into optometry along with their professional growth and long-term career success.
Nijewel Xavier Robin Malcolm Holliday Memorial Scholarship
Nijewel was a second year student at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry, who had already started making invaluable contributions to the profession. This scholarship was established to honor his focused commitment to optometry and to his altruistic spirit in the service of humanity.
In memory of C. Clayton Powell, O. D., NOA Co-Founder/GA Chapter Scholarship
On October 23, 2020, the eyecare community lost a giant! Dr. Powell’s contributions to the world at large have been invaluable. This memorial fund has been created to honor his life and to perpetuate his legacy.
