National Optometric Association Launches Emergency Fund for Displaced Pikeville Optometry Students and Faculty Affected by Flooding
The National Optometric Association (NOA) is calling on the optometry community to come together in support of students, faculty, and staff of the University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Optometry (KYCO) who have been displaced due to recent devastating floods.
To ensure these students and educators can continue their education and academic work, the NOA has launched an Emergency Relief Fund to provide direct financial assistance for housing, food, and essential needs. The fund will be fee-free so that 100% of donations go directly to those in need.
The NOA invites individuals and organizations to donate via University of Pikeville or The AOA Foundation and share this initiative with their social media networks. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.
