National Optometric Foundation

 

The National Optometric Foundation, Inc. (NOF) is the philanthropic arm of the National Optometric Association. From its inception in 1975 under the leadership of then Executive Director, Dr. Charles Comer, NOF has supported long-term solutions to visual health problems among minority populations. For over 40 years, the National Optometric Foundation has provided more than $500,000 to support student scholarships, student matriculation initiatives and ocular health education and awareness programs. As a tax-exempt 501 ( c ) 3 non-profit organization, all contribution to the National Optometric Foundation, Inc. are tax deductible.
