POSITION SUMMARY:

Develops clinical sites that support the educational needs of students. The ADC will stay abreast of emerging trends in health care and all legislation impacting the profession of optometry.

Responsibilities:

Administration:

  • Serves the Administrative Team Administration.
  • Participate in budget planning for all clinics.
  • Advise in the purchase and maintenance of equipment.
  • Advise in the development of new clinical programs.

The Assistant Dean for Clinical Education and Curriculum (ADCEC) is responsible for developing and refining the clinical educational experiences for students of the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Optometry (KYCO).
