Originally from Chicago, IL, she attended undergraduate and graduate school at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry, graduating with honors. In 2024, she joined the University of Colorado Department of Ophthalmology as Assistant Professor, serving patients at the Boulder eye clinic. Her current practice and clinical interests include comprehensive care, pre- and post-operative surgical co-management, glaucoma, and posterior segment clinic support. Additionally, health equity strategy and implementation across eye care service delivery are of particular interest.
