About Dr. Brittany Wright

Dr. Wright graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 2015 and completed the ocular disease and low vision rehabilitation residency at the Kansas City VAMC. She is currently full-time clinical faculty and coordinator for diversity, equity, and inclusion at the UMSL College of Optometry.

Q. Why are you a member of the NOA?

A. As a student, I received so much support, encouragement, and mentorship as a NOSA member and National President. I remain involved with the NOA because I believe in the mission of this organization and value the important role the NOA plays for students from underrepresented backgrounds pursuing their Doctor of Optometry degree!
